My lessons are tailor-made to suit your ability whether you're a beginner or advanced player and this is determined by our initial induction lesson. All ages are catered for. I focus on traditional notation and music theory from the start, as this is an important part of music and allows progression on your chosen instrument. If you would rather focus on another aspect of music, this can also be catered for.

 

Examinations are encouraged (but optional) as they provide a goal to work

towards and provide a measure of progress for the pupil and teacher.

However, preparing for examinations is combined with fun activities!

But remember, progression can only be enhanced by regular practice.

(For woodwind examinations, I provide piano accompaniment for

an additional fee).  

 

I teach 15, 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minute lessons. Lessons are taught

one-to-one or small group (by request) afterschool from my home in

Leigh On Sea for local pupils and the recent addition of my online studio 

reaching pupils all across the UK. 

 

One thing I am passionate about with music education

is performance opportunities. Therefore, I also organise informal

concerts for pupils and parents.

 

I aim to keep my fees at a competitive rate in the Essex area for music

tuition by both local tutors and music shops. Therefore, I believe my

lessons are good value for money if this is your first time learning an

instrument or whether you wish to refresh your ability.
