Biography
Welcome to my website, the teaching and performance website of Holly Eade (BMus(Hons), ATCL) - a professional classical flautist and qualified teacher based in Essex. I teach from my music studio in my home in Leigh On Sea and as a Woodwind and Piano specialist in local schools. Since 2020, I have started to open my studio to online students. I now teach people from all across the UK. I am also a classical musician performing on Flute, Clarinet, Piano & Alto Saxophone.
I was born in Rochford and still consider Essex my home. I started to learn the Flute at the age of 6 and fell immediately in love with music. My teacher inspired me and I soon began learning more instruments (Piano, Clarinet and Alto Saxophone). It was after completing GCSE's and going on to study A-Levels that I knew I wanted to be a music teacher. After completing all ABRSM grades and recieving The St.Bernard's Arts College Music Award, I went to Kingston University to study BMus Music with majors in Classical Performance and Education. I further completed the Trinity ATCL Instrumental Teaching Diploma and recieved the highest result.
Since graduating from University, I have returned to my home in Essex
and started my own teaching business where I work as the Woodwind
and Piano Specialist in a number of schools and from my home, along
side online teaching.
However I still have a passion to perform music and continue to be a
professional classical musician. I have had experience playing with the
BBC Symphony Orchestra at BBC Maida Vale Studios and in Am Dram
companies in London and Essex. I also provide services to perform
at events such as weddings, work events and bar openings.
Please contact me for more information.
Foremost, I am a enthusiastic, encouraging, dedicated and caring music
teacher with a real passion for teaching and nurturing each individual
student's musical talent to the full. I am skilled and experienced at
teaching students of ALL ages, and ALL abilities, from complete
beginners to those preparing for grade 8 examinations,
or those who simply enjoy playing for fun!
I look forward to the potential of working with you in the future.
